The PWA (Progressive Web App) feature allows your LinkPod bio page to function like a native mobile app. Visitors can install your page directly to their mobile device home screens for faster access and a more app-like experience.
🔧 Step 1: Open Your Bio Page Settings
- Navigate to the Bio Pages section from the left-hand menu in your LinkPod dashboard.
- Click on the bio page you want to edit.
- In the Settings tab, scroll down and click on the PWA option.
⚙️ Step 2: Configure PWA Options
You'll now see the Progressive Web App (PWA) settings panel with the following options:
✅ Enable Custom PWA App
- Toggle this ON to activate PWA for your page.
📲 Display Installation Bar
- Turn this on if you want a banner to appear prompting users to install your bio page as an app.
⏳ Delay Until Bar Shows Up
- Choose how many seconds after page load the install banner appears.
- Example: Enter
🌟 Step 3: Upload Your PWA Icon
- Click Choose File and upload a square
- Max file size: 2 MB.
This icon is what will display on a user's mobile home screen when your app is installed.
🎨 Step 4: Set a Theme Color
- Choose the theme color that will appear in the background of your app's status bar and splash screen when opened on mobile.
💾 Step 5: Save Changes
- Once everything is set, scroll down and click the green Update button to save your PWA configuration.

- Test the install process on both Android and iOS for full compatibility.
- Ensure your favicon and branding are aligned with your PWA icon for a cohesive appearance.
- Use a short, memorable bio page URL if you plan to promote your PWA directly.
📌 What Your Visitors Will See
- Visitors will see an install prompt or banner (if enabled) and can add your page to their device home screen.
- Once added, your LinkPod bio page can be opened like an app—without the browser UI.
